My favorite memories are of my grandfather telling me stories of his life. He would tell the same ones over and over. I wish I had more video or a written account of these stories. It was so fun to learn about the time he grew up in, from his point of view – what lessons he learned from his experiences, and just hearing happy memories that made us all laugh.
I miss him so much, but I have my memories of him, and I have his stories that I remember fondly.
