Dear Present Meg,
The only constant thing in this life that you can count on is change; with each change, you get more resilient, and take lessons along with you.
Sure, at first, you get bitter. Why the heck is change happening again?!? Why can’t we have a normal life? Why were we dealt this hand? Whoa is me.
It’s pity party time. The stages of grief kick in.
You keep in mind, though, that it always passes.
And, after the pity party is done, remember:
- A. That your life wasn’t normal even before this change.
- B. You’ve been here before.
- C. It always works out.
We aren’t even going to think about all the things that could go wrong because, that’s not going to help.
So let’s move on to the good part:
It’s time to get excited because there ARE SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!
Time to dream big.
And the best part? You get to dream big with your best friend that you share your life with and your awesome little family you’ve made.
We’ve made so much good happen together. We have built a life that we are grateful for even in times of struggle. This is just a blip.
It’s time to rise from the ashes once again!
As a friend says for you to ask all the time:
